Simon Canning has been with PeaceGeeks for 6 years and stands as the Past President of PGS and current President of PGI.

Simon has a passion for improving PeaceGeeks’ outcomes by building healthy cultures and developing high performing board governance practices. Simon learned his governance skills as Chair of a leading BC resource centre for not for profits, as well as in private practice working with boards of directors in a variety of sectors. During his tenure with PeaceGeeks Simon has installed tried and tested Governance practices that positions both organizations for growth and accountability.
