Nina is a Board Director for PeaceGeeks. She is a communications professional with 20 years of international and local experience in corporate, agency and not-for-profit environments. Nina has held senior communications positions in organizations including Ford Motor Company and the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC). She is currently the Global Communications Manager at Methanex Corporation.
Outside of work, Nina is committed to making a positive difference in communities—she is an active member of the Marketing and Communications Committee for the Vancouver Chinatown Foundation, is a regular volunteer at the Union Gospel Mission and the Canada Rugby Sevens Vancouver, serves as Captain of her Block Watch community and was a Board Director for Room to Read BC Chapter and the Canadian Public Relations Society Vancouver Chapter. Nina is motivated by her drive to help make this world a better place. Through professional communications, she aspires to bridge communities to foster peace, unity and understanding. Nina holds an MBA with a double major in Leadership, and Public Relations and Communications from Royal Roads University. In her spare time, she enjoys running, yoga, fitness, golf, travel, wine and spending time with her family. Nina speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
