In September 2011 Peace Geeks began helping CEWIGO to re-brand their organization to include key themes of leadership, empowerment, equality, strength and advancement. Through a number of consultations and focus groups, HarassMap identified a number of challenges with their existing logo; including that it appeared to mainly target women and dit not effectively engage men. HarassMap began operations in late 2010 just before Egypt's revolution and has since identified a number of key challenges in advancing their mission. A key challenge is that some website visitors do not understand how SMS text messages are connected to the map on HarassMaps home page. Visitors also found it difficult to find available resources on the HarassMap's website that can help them respond to harassment.
