Scholarship prize for Peace Geeks Volunteer Cheryl Loh

Peace Geeks is very excited to announce that Peace Geeks volunteer extraordinaire is the recipient of the 2011 Jim Rimmer Scholarship for Design. This prize was awarded for her work with Peace Geeks on the development of a new website for the Centre for Women in Governance (CEWIGO), which promotes the role of women in leadership, government and in peace processes in Uganda. This work was done as part of her course requirements for the Core Project for the Graphic Design program at Emily Carr, where she is completing her 3rd year of studies. Cheryl also designed Peace Geeks' web site, icons, business cards, newsletter, launch poster and more.
